Cryselle Pills

Couples have been finding ways in order to maintain an active sexual lifestyle while still avoiding risks in having unplanned pregnancies. They use a variety of contraceptives, each with a different process and percentage of efficaciousness. Barrier methods have been widely used all over the globe but do not really give a high percentage in controlling birth as much as oral contraceptives do. Cryselle is a type of oral contraceptive that gives a much higher chance that a woman will not get pregnant while being sexually active.

Crysellle is an ethinyl estradiol and norgestrel which contains hormones that act to prevent unplanned pregnancies. It works by thickening the mucus in the cervix that gives difficulty for the sperm to pass through to the fallopian tubes where the egg is usually located. It also makes the uterine wall thinner that makes it hard for a fertilized egg (in any case sperm was able to pass through and come in contact with the egg) to attach itself and ripen. The hormones also give the reproductive system an impression that no fertilization has occurred and then allows the uterine wall to shed and in turn the woman to menstruate.

People resort to using cryselle for it both has a high percentage of preventing pregnancies and is easy to use. There are two types of crysele birth control packs, the 21 and 28 pills. In the 21 pills pack, 1 pill is taken everyday then is paused for 7 days until the next pack. While the 28 pills pack involves taking 1 pill for 21 days then the rest “reminder pills” for 7 days. Basically the difference is that one will not be able to lose count in the 28 pills pack.
Just as with any other medication, cryselle side effects may take place if they are not used properly. Some of the basic symptoms are nausea, vomiting, breast pain, changes in weight vaginal itching or discharge and others that are more serious. Once these symptoms appear, it is greatly recommended that one sees a physician in order to prevent prolonged side effects.

Hi i have been on Cryselle birth control for about 4 years now and for a little over a year my periods have been very consistent and i would have them for 3 days. Last month i had my period for 2 days and now this month for only half a day. Could i be pregnant? I do miss pills every once in awhile but take them the next day when i remember. Should i take a test or not worry about it?
